I have had the privilege of being an NHS doctor for the past 19 years and a GP for the last 10. Having had such a positive experience with Acupuncture myself, I trained in Western Medical Acupuncture through the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS) and thrive on providing patients with an evidence based adjunct to conventional medicine. Alongside the foundation course through BMAS, I have also trained through them in using acupuncture during Pregnancy and Childbirth and also in Electro- acupuncture which augments the use of the needles through a mild electrical impulse. Alongside this I am also passionate about preventative/lifestyle medicine as so many illnesses we see today, such as heart disease and type 2 diabetes, are a direct result of the lifestyle we have lead. By studying towards a diploma in Lifestyle Medicine through the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine I hope to help patients reduce their risks of preventable illnesses or assist those who have such illnesses to manage them in a more healthy and holistic way. I am GMC registered and am covered by Balen's Insurance.
